Venus Murex (Thorn) Shells

Venus Murex shells are from a family of large predatory sea snails found in Indo-Pacific waters.  Identifiable by their spiky spines that run along the shell. 

Our Venus spikes are still spiky but are a lot smaller then the average Venus Murex. They are a large shell at approximately 10-15cm, ideal for aquarium decor details. Coloured in muted white and brown hues with striking spines.

Ideas: Venus Murex shells are excellent for interior and exterior decoration as well as retail window displays. Our shells have used for photo-shoots, decoration in restaurants, event theming as well as art & craft projects. Being a little larger in size they are perfect for details in aquariums or equally lovely on their own on a shelf display in your home.

All of our shells are from approved sources and have been thoroughly cleaned.
